Any group of people who lay claim to the high moral ground should be treated with caution. The greens certainly fit into this category and have been preaching from a high for a long time now.

The term 'preaching' is very apt. Green politics along with smoking and the whole health issue is the new religion. But unlike mainstream religion where we have a 'choice' if we believe or not, we have a 'choice' if we attend church or not, we are left with no choice about green issues or smoking. We have to pay our donations to the 'Green Church' by way of ever higher taxes.

The green party has grown in ireland and the more extreme, the more loony their proposals the more popular they become which is disturbing. With global warming all the rage god help us all

Gold help us all indeed, they are now going to be part of the next government. Expect a load of new bans and taxes.
