 People who smoke and get old. And the smoking ban is also in the old-age homes, these people have no where to go. They worked their whole life and now they are being treated as small children. |

yes elizabeth it is indeed appualing that everyone is being treated as criminals.This group of nannies is fast moving on their political goals to criminalize and outlaw everything they hate ,despise or want to control.

People should use this photograph to show that you can get old.
I am scared of the words they use for smokers, and I complained for this language in comments of a newspaper and they agreed and removed the comment. Justice done.
Just complain at any letters in newspapers that say horrible things about smokers, if they say this about other people it would be considered "discrimination and the rest" Fight them.
The next thing is alcohol, if you drink you are a stupid addicted alcoholic....till it is banned and people will start drinking under bridges to meet each other, look what happened in the States when alcohol was banned.

The Indian government wants the WHO to declare October 2 (Gandhi"s birthday) No Alcohol Day and they want the same sort of worldwide crusade against it. they're even using the same rhetoric about how many people alcohol supposedly kills every year, etc.
Isn't it amazing that even some developing countries, which have real health problems as far as disease, malnutrition and clean drinking water, are wasting their time telling people they can't enjoy themselves?

Unbelievable. And the funniest thing is saying; smoking and drinking alcohol kills! What about, driving cars kills, and even having sex can be deadly with Aids, in general living kills.  They just want more and more control of the people in general and the worst thing is that anything that is forbidden will increase. And they don't accept that everybody will die, and if they die too late, governments start complaining that paying for old age people is getting too expensive, so why don't they give away free cigarettes and alcohol? That will solve the problem if what they are saying is the truth.  |

It's so true; they want us to live to an old age and then they won't know what to do with us!! I like the free cigarettes and alcohol idea, although things like that can also be used as control mechanisms: the old Soviet government always made sure vodka was cheap and available so people could obliterate how badly they were being governed. Maybe the Western capitalist version is the TV...
