last monday a 76 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to dublins mater hospital.......32 hours after arriving at the hospital the poor woman was still on a trolley in a cubicle split in two waiting to see a cardiologist.......no staff were available to bring the woman to the toilet so they put nappies on her....... after 37 hours a doctor took some blood samples......by this time the poor woman was begging to be let to die..........still no sign of a cardiologist......and this woman has fully paid up health insurance with the vhi...........what a shame it is on all irish people.....just what is it going to take before the greedy fat pigs who are responsible are removed....a revolution ?

This makes private insurance wonderful, but whats more private hospitals built on profit provide the best services possible. It just makes me wonder how long will it be before socialized medicine collapses in on itself becuase it isnt self sustaining. Already Ive seen where the nhs doesnt want to treat smokers or obesity patients. Is the health ministry just full of hateful nannies bent on murdering people based upon hate of peoples choises or habits. Medicine is suppose to treat patients not politicize them..........health facsism is not good for anyone. What politicas are they teaching in medical school now,not just at the health ministry.
